This 2-week in-home course is offered to cadets ages 10 months to 6 years of age only.
We come to your home 1 hour a day Mon- Fri for 2 weeks. When you enroll you are set up on a training schedule that will stay the same for the duration of the 2 weeks. This course is ONLY offered to cadets who have been approved and have completed our Basic Obedience Academy.
Your cadet was previously taught “professional” on leash heel, sit, automatic stop and sit, down, stay and recall (coming when called) to the heel position. We teach off-leash sit, down, stay and recall. We will review and make sure your cadet is advanced on his/her commands already learned.
We teach OFF Leash Heel and nonverbal commands (already started in the basic) for sit, down, stay, and recall.
We offer field trips to pet-friendly places to enhance the social and environmental experience for your cadet. We work on building confidence and independence, offer owner-handling classes at a location of your choosing. All while practicing SAFE off-leash training.
We train your family on the 1st Friday of the 1st week and give you homework to work on for the weekend. We train again on the last Thursday and Friday of the last week. Follow-up classes are offered in the event you need that extra day with us. Your cadet’s obedience is warranted with a formal contract lifetime obedience guarantee on the commands taught at this stage of training. We recommend you consider having your cadet attend our next stage of training when the time is right if approved for advanced. All repeat clients get a $200 discount on the next stage of training. Multiple Cadet Discounts are also offered.
